Livestock Guardian Dog in need of a Working Home
 

Maremma Located in New Hampshire, USA

Female, 5 years old maremma has been rescued and retrained and now needs a new permanent home.
She is currently working as a farm dog and is guarding chickens, sheep and goats. I would describe her as more or a perimeter guardian as she monitors the fenceline and does not seem to "love" her livestock. Currently she is working well with my other male and female, although she is bossy and would probably not work well with another female.

I am looking for a home where she will interact with people daily as she thrives on attention. She needs good fences and would do well as an over-all farm dog interacting with people. She seems to love people and kids. She is in excellent health, has a wonderful disposition, and is friendly and eager to please. She is spayed, micro-chipped and her health record is up to date.
